Product Description

The Baja Designs 257801 is a pair of Squadron SAE LED fog light pods in clear lens -- Baja Designs' next-generation road-legal auxiliary fog light engineered to meet SAE J583 fog lamp certification requirements for street use. Built around all-new aspheric projector optics and Baja Designs' advanced LED platform, the Squadron SAE delivers 2,420 lumens per light at 29 watts with a peak output of 15,800 candela -- a 56% improvement in luminous flux over the previous-generation SAE model. The sharp-cutoff Zone 1 beam pattern illuminates close-range peripheral zones without producing glare that would interfere with oncoming traffic, making these lights equally suitable for daily driving in fog, dust, rain, and snow conditions. The new aspheric projector optics combine precision LED placement with a highly efficient lens profile to produce a controlled, flat-topped beam with minimal light scatter above the cutoff line. CopperDrive technology drives each LED at 100% output capacity, and MoistureBlock construction provides waterproof and submersible protection for use in any weather condition. Powder-coated aluminum housings deliver the heat dissipation and durability required for sustained driving use. An On/Off 2-Light Max toggle switch wiring harness is included in the kit.
