Product Description

The Baja Designs 187801 (18-7801) is the DOT LP6 LED Headlight Replacement Pair with white DRL -- Baja Designs' first road-legal headlight built for both automotive and motorcycle applications. Derived directly from the LP6 Pro off-road light platform, the DOT LP6 brings that same output and optical precision into full FMVSS 108 compliance, delivering integrated low and high beam functionality in a single housing with integrated white daytime running lights. Low beam output is 3,480 lumens / 42,568 candela; high beam reaches 5,280 lumens / 62,611 candela -- substantially more than most OEM LED headlights at equivalent or better beam pattern control.

The 5000K color temperature is a deliberate choice -- it closely mimics natural daylight and reduces eye fatigue compared to the 6000-6500K output common in factory LED replacements. ClearView projection optics produce a clean low-beam cutoff for oncoming traffic, while MoistureBlock sealing achieves IP69K waterproof certification with submersion to 9 feet. Universal fitment requires separate purchase of a wiring harness (PN: 640172 for automotive) and mounting brackets (PN: 65-0286).
