• Squadron 2.0 Sport lights are operated by the included secondary harness and are intended for off-road use when not SAE compliant. Squadron SAE lights are controlled by the factory fog switch and are SAE J583 compliant for on-road use.

Product Description

The Baja Designs 440053 is a purpose-built dual fog pocket light kit designed specifically for the 2009-2012 Ram 1500 and 2010-2018 Ram 2500/3500. This is a complete 4-light system that transforms the factory fog pocket into a two-tier lighting platform: two Squadron SAE lights in the outer positions are wired to the factory fog switch and are fully SAE J583 compliant for on-road use, while two Squadron 2.0 Sport lights in the inner positions are operated by an included secondary harness for off-road and trail use. The kit uses vehicle-specific mounting brackets that bolt directly into the OEM fog pocket locations with no cutting, drilling, or splicing required - the H10-to-WeaPac adapter harnesses connect plug-and-play to the factory wiring to preserve factory fog switch control.

The Squadron SAE lights deliver 2,420 lumens per light at 29 watts through aspheric projector optics with a sharp, controlled cutoff, making them an ideal road-legal upgrade for driving in fog, dust, rain, or low-visibility conditions. The Squadron 2.0 Sport lights take over on the trail with 3,200 lumens per light at 30W - a 26% performance improvement over the prior-generation Squadron Sport - with next-generation ClearView® optics projecting a Driving/Combo beam that covers Zones 1 through 3. The 2.0 Sport lights feature an integrated 9-color selectable RGBW backlight configurable through the included Deutsch harness, with the selected color retained even when the lights are off. Improved uService® clip-in reflectors and a redesigned gasket simplify lens swaps on the 2.0 Sport lights while maintaining superior long-term weatherproofing.
