The AWE 4510-11060 ColdFront Intercooler is a direct bolt-on front-mount intercooler upgrade for 2017-2024 Audi B9 and B9.5 A4, A5, S4, S5, and A4 allroad models equipped with the 2.0T or 3.0T turbocharged engine. The ColdFront delivers a 130% increase in frontal surface area and an 83% increase in volume compared to the factory intercooler, dramatically reducing intake air temperatures and eliminating heat soak during spirited driving, track sessions, or high ambient temperatures. The core uses a bar-and-plate aluminum design for superior heat transfer, paired with cast aluminum end tanks featuring internal baffling for optimized airflow distribution. By keeping intake air temperatures low and minimizing pressure drop across the core, the ColdFront ensures consistent engine output whether the vehicle is running at stock boost levels or with an aftermarket tune pushing higher boost pressures.
