This system retains all the precision engineering from the Touring Edition - including the bespoke MK8-specific mid-pipe resonator and premium T304L stainless steel construction - but eliminates the 180 Technology® drone-canceling resonator for an unrestricted, aggressive exhaust note. The straight-through design delivers a raw, unfiltered sound that announces your presence from startup through redline. AWE makes it easy to change your mind: optional conversion kits allow swapping between Track and Touring configurations if you later decide to add drone cancellation or remove it. The system connects to the factory downpipe via a slip-fit adapter while leaving an open 3" connection for future aftermarket downpipe upgrades.
