Product Description

The AWE 3015-32658 Touring Edition exhaust represents eight generations of GTI development, delivering the first AWE MK8 GTI system equipped with patented 180 Technology® drone cancellation. This catback system features a bespoke mid-pipe resonator engineered specifically for the MK8 platform, producing a deep, full-bodied exhaust note from idle through redline. The 180 Technology® resonator uses strategically positioned ports and reflection chambers to create out-of-phase sound waves that eliminate drone-prone frequencies at highway cruising speeds without restricting exhaust flow. Unlike conventional packed resonators that degrade over time and change tone, AWE's 180 Technology® design maintains consistent sound quality for the life of the exhaust. The system connects to the factory downpipe via a slip-fit adapter while leaving an open 3" connection for future aftermarket downpipe upgrades.
