Product Description

The ATS 314-169-2326 Case Brace is a 2-piece steel girdle engineered to address one of the most common failure points on the 68RFE six-speed automatic transmission: case cracking. While an upgraded pan can add some rigidity, it isn't enough on its own to prevent a cracked case under sustained load, especially in trucks running increased power.

Bolting externally around the transmission case, this brace reinforces the housing and helps protect against a failure that can otherwise leave a truck stranded with a damaged transmission. It's a smart addition for 2007.5-2024 Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins owners, whether running stock power or a built/tuned setup, and is used as a core component in ATS's own 68RFE performance transmission packages.
