The ATS 310-005-2464 Thermal Bypass Valve Upgrade corrects a well-known weak point on late-model Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks. The factory bypass valve is designed to route fluid around the transmission cooler during cold operation, but it frequently sticks or leaks, leaving the cooler out of the circuit and allowing transmission temperatures to climb.
