Product Description

The ATS Doomsday Device addresses a known fire risk in 2007.5-and-up Ram 6.7L Cummins trucks: during a transmission failure, fluid can be forced out through the dipstick tube and onto the hot turbo and exhaust manifold, creating a serious fire hazard flagged in an FCA/Stellantis technical service bulletin. This billet device locks onto the top of the filler tube and redirects any overflow through a supplied tube instead, keeping it away from critical engine components.

It's a simple, low-cost safety upgrade that installs in minutes with no permanent modifications, giving owners peace of mind whether they're towing, running high transmission temps, or just want protection against the possibility of a failure-related fire. It's a smart addition for any 68RFE or AS69-equipped Cummins truck, especially those used for heavy-duty work.
