Product Description

The ATS Aurora 4000 VNT Stage 2 Turbocharger was engineered from the ground up specifically for the 6.7L Power Stroke Cab & Chassis platform, addressing the factory twin-scroll turbo's well-known ball bearing failure points. Rather than reworking the OE unit, ATS built an entirely new VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbine) design around a billet 8x8 compressor wheel, an oversized mixed-flow turbine wheel, and a stainless steel VNT turbine pack, all housed in a high silicon molybdenum turbine housing built to handle sustained heat and boost.

At the core of the upgrade are custom double journal bearings, which trade the factory ball-bearing setup for a design built to support significantly higher horsepower with better long-term reliability - an important consideration for Cab & Chassis trucks that see heavy-duty, work-focused use. A fully hydraulic actuator adds precise, consistent boost control, and the Velocity Stack Compressor Section is tuned to help the engine breathe more efficiently across the RPM range.
