The ATS 402-915-6248 Protector Rear Differential Cover replaces the restrictive factory cover on GM and Dodge trucks equipped with the AAM 14-bolt, 11.5" rear differential. Cast from durable aluminum with a black powder coat finish, it adds 2.5 quarts of additional fluid capacity and a built-in heat sink to improve cooling and gear lubrication under heavy towing, off-road, or high-performance conditions.

A magnetic-style drain plug and accessible fill port make routine fluid service quick and mess-free, without needing to remove the cover. This upgrade suits 2001-2019 GM 2500HD/3500 Duramax and 8.1L trucks with a full-floating rear axle, as well as 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 diesel trucks running the same AAM 14-bolt axle, giving drivers added protection and reliability for demanding drivetrain use.
