The ATI 918999D is the dedicated installation stud and washer that adapts the ATI Pro Damper Puller/Installer Kit (PN 918999) for use on GM Duramax diesel and Toyota 2JZ-GE/2JZ-GTE engines. These platforms use an M18 x 1.5 crankshaft thread that the base kit does not accommodate - this stud serves as the bridge between the crank's metric thread and the tool's 1/2"-20 mandrel thread, enabling proper damper installation without risk of thread damage or crank contamination.

Machined from black oxide steel for strength and corrosion resistance, the 918999D is a straightforward but essential addition to any Duramax diesel build or 2JZ engine swap where an ATI Super Damper harmonic balancer is being installed.
