Vehicle Fitment

  • 2005-2026 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty (Dana 60 front knuckle)
  • Also compatible with aftermarket "1-ton axle swap" builds using a Super Duty Dana 60 knuckle, regardless of the receiving vehicle

Fitment Notes

  • Fitment is determined by knuckle design, not vehicle make/model/year alone - confirm your knuckle matches the 2005+ Super Duty spec before ordering
  • 2005-2010 and 2011+ Super Duty knuckles differ slightly; a laser-etched trim line on the part accounts for this and must be trimmed off for 2011+ applications
  • Driver-side knuckle hole must be drilled out to 3/4"; casting remnants on the front of the knuckle need to be ground down
  • Requires welding and minor fabrication - installation should only be performed by a competent welder
  • Sold in pairs only

Features

  • Configurable, affordable weld-on arms that eliminate common axle-swap steering issues
  • Three different configuration variations available to dial in the optimal steering setup for a given build
  • Fully fabricated for optimal steering geometry and clearances
  • Allows a straight tie rod with no bends, and clears even deep fabricated differential covers
  • Includes knuckle bolts and tapered spacers for a tight fit and increased strength
  • 3/4" bolt holes for uncompromising steering strength
  • Precision laser-cut from 1/4" steel and CNC bent for accurate fitment
  • Minimal modification to the OEM knuckle needed

Product Description

The Artec HS6150 is a set of weld-on crossover high steer arms built for the 2005+ Ford Super Duty Dana 60 knuckle, addressing the steering geometry problems that commonly show up when this knuckle is used in a "1-ton" axle swap - whether under a factory Super Duty or a Jeep, Toyota, or other vehicle receiving the swap. Where factory steering arms often force compromised tie rod angles or interference with deep differential covers, these arms are fully fabricated to allow a straight tie rod and clear even aggressive aftermarket diff covers.

Each arm is precision laser-cut from 1/4" steel and CNC bent for accurate, repeatable fitment, with included knuckle bolts and tapered spacers providing a tight, high-strength connection at the knuckle. Three configuration variations are available, giving builders room to dial in the steering geometry that works best for their specific setup rather than being locked into one fixed configuration.

This is a build-specific part rather than a simple bolt-on - installation requires drilling the driver-side knuckle hole to 3/4", grinding down casting remnants, and welding the arms in place, which Artec explicitly recommends leaving to a competent welder. For axle-swap builders and Super Duty owners chasing genuinely correct steering geometry rather than an awkward compromise, this is a purpose-built solution rather than a generic aftermarket part.
