Product Description

The Artec Industries JL6541 1-Ton APEX Front Super Duty Swap Kit is engineered for Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU builds that require a heavy-duty front axle conversion using a 1999-2004 Ford Super Duty front axle. The kit combines a reinforced APEX axle truss with suspension and axle-mounting brackets to provide a strong foundation for a custom 1-ton front axle installation. Its high-clearance design helps preserve suspension geometry while providing improved structural support around the axle housing.

Constructed from CNC laser-cut 1/4-inch and 3/16-inch mild steel, the JL6541 uses Artec's peaked APEX truss design for strength, rigidity and reduced weight. The system incorporates mounting provisions for control arms, coil brackets, bump stops and shocks while extending the truss structure toward the inner C for increased axle reinforcement. Daystar bushings are supplied for the upper-control-arm mounting configuration.

This kit is intended for experienced off-road builders and professional fabricators performing a 1-ton front axle conversion on a Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU. Welding and fabrication are required, and the donor Super Duty axle, ABS sensor components and other vehicle-specific conversion hardware are not included.
