Fitment Notes

• For manual transmission flywheel applications only - automatic transmission flexplate applications require a different ARP part number
• Designed for the FA20 / 4U-GSE 2.0L boxer engine - does NOT fit the FA24 2.4L engine used in the 2022+ GR86 and 2022+ BRZ
• Do NOT use washers - these bolts are engineered for direct installation without washers; using washers will void ARP's warranty and may cause failure
• Flywheel bolt holes must have adequate chamfer to clear the underhead radius of each bolt
• Use ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant on threads and under bolt heads for accurate torque readings

Product Description

The ARP 203-2804 is a Pro Series flywheel bolt kit designed for the Toyota/Subaru FA20 (4U-GSE) 2.0L flat-four engine used in the Scion FR-S, Toyota 86, and Subaru BRZ from 2013 through 2020. Any clutch or flywheel installation on these platforms should include new flywheel bolts - OEM hardware is torque-to-yield and not designed for reuse. This ARP kit replaces them with 8740 chromoly aerospace bolts rated at 200,000 psi for consistent, reliable clamping force through any power level or driving condition.

The flat 12-point head provides better socket engagement for more accurate torque application, and the larger shank diameter improves flywheel register alignment on the crankshaft flange. These bolts must be installed without washers and torqued using ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant included in the kit. Note: this kit is for the FA20 / 4U-GSE engine only - it does not fit the FA24 2.4L engine introduced in the 2022 GR86 and 2022 BRZ.
