Fitment Notes

• For manual transmission flywheel applications only - automatic transmission flexplate applications use a different bolt configuration and are not compatible with this kit
• Fits both the FA20 (BRZ) and EJ20/EJ25 (WRX/STI/Forester/Legacy GT) engine families - both share the M10 x 1.0 flywheel bolt specification
• Note: the ARP part number for the FA20 (203-2804 Toyota/Scion side) and this Subaru kit (260-2801) are interchangeable for the FA20 - confirm your application before ordering
• Do NOT use washers - these bolts are engineered for direct installation without washers; using washers will void ARP's warranty and may cause failure
• Use ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant on threads and under bolt heads for accurate torque readings - do not use engine oil

Product Description

The ARP 260-2801 is a Pro Series flywheel bolt kit covering Subaru's FA20 and EJ-series flat-four engines used across the WRX, STI, BRZ, Legacy GT, Outback XT, and Forester XT platforms in manual transmission configuration. Any clutch or flywheel service on these vehicles is the right time to replace the OEM flywheel bolts, which are torque-to-yield single-use hardware not designed for the repeated clutch engagement and high-torque loading of modified or performance builds. This ARP kit replaces all eight bolts with 8740 chromoly fasteners rated at 200,000 psi for consistent, reliable clamping force through any power level or driving condition.

The flat 12-point head provides better socket engagement for accurate torque application, and the larger shank diameter improves flywheel register alignment on the crankshaft flange. These bolts must be installed without washers using ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant included in the kit. Compatible with both the FA20 DOHC and the EJ-series turbocharged flat-four engines sharing the M10 x 1.0 flywheel bolt specification - manual transmission applications only.
