Fitment Notes

• Fits cylinder heads with 7/16 in. bolt holes only - for heads with 1/2 in. bolt holes (351W or certain aftermarket heads), use ARP 154-3605 with insert washers
• Compatible with stock factory heads and Edelbrock Performer (60259) and Edelbrock Performer RPM (60379) heads
• Not compatible with 351 Windsor without insert washers due to larger head bolt hole diameter
• Use ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant (included) for accurate torque readings - do not use engine oil or thread sealant

The ARP 154-3601 is a High Performance Series cylinder head bolt kit designed for Ford Small Block Windsor 289 and 302 engines using stock factory heads or Edelbrock Performer and RPM heads. Spanning decades of production across the Mustang, Bronco, Falcon, F-100, Fairlane, and beyond, the 289/302 Windsor family is one of the most widely used performance platforms in American automotive history. OEM head bolts on these engines are not designed for re-use after repeated thermal cycling, making this ARP kit the correct upgrade for any rebuild, head swap, or performance build.

Rated at 180,000 psi - 15% stronger than Grade 8 - these bolts provide consistent, reliable clamping force across both cylinder heads. The reduced-wrenching hex head design with wide-area flange allows re-torquing without removing the valvetrain, a significant time saver during break-in. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included for uniform load distribution. Note: this kit is for heads with 7/16 in. bolt holes; builds using heads with 1/2 in. holes require ARP 154-3605.
