Product Description

The ARP 102-4701 is a Pro Series head stud kit for the Nissan SR20DE, SR20DET, SR20VE, and SR20VET engine family -- covering applications from 1991 through 2001. Built from 8740 chromoly alloy at 200,000 PSI tensile strength, these studs are centerless ground after heat treatment and thread rolled post-heat-treat for fatigue strength far exceeding OEM torque-to-yield head bolts. The undercut design equalizes clamping force across both studs, significantly reducing the risk of head gasket failure under boost or high-output builds.

Unlike OEM bolts, ARP studs are fully reusable. ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant is required for accurate torque readings and sold separately. Re-torque after the first heat cycle is mandatory. Made in the USA. Not for sale in California.
