Fitment Notes

• Fits cylinder heads with 7/16 in. bolt holes only - for heads with 1/2 in. bolt holes (351W or certain aftermarket heads), use ARP 154-3605 with insert washers
• Compatible with stock factory heads, GT40, GT40P, and Edelbrock Performer (60259) and Performer RPM (60379) heads
• This is the 12-point head version - functionally identical to ARP 154-3601 (hex head) but with a 12-point head for tighter socket access
• Use ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant (included) under bolt heads and on threads for accurate torque readings - do not substitute engine oil

The ARP 154-3701 is a High Performance Series cylinder head bolt kit for Ford Small Block Windsor 289 and 302 engines, offering the same proven fitment as the 154-3601 but with a 12-point head design for improved socket access in tight engine bays. This kit works with stock factory heads, GT40, GT40P, and Edelbrock Performer and RPM aftermarket heads - all using the standard 7/16 in. bolt hole diameter. Rated at 180,000 psi, these chromoly bolts are 15% stronger than Grade 8 fasteners and are a direct upgrade over OEM head hardware for any rebuild, restoration, or performance build on the 289/302 platform.

The compact 12-point head with wide-area flange allows for cylinder head re-torquing without removing the valvetrain - a practical advantage during engine break-in. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included to ensure uniform clamping force across both cylinder heads. This kit covers a complete engine (both heads) with 20 bolts and 20 washers. For heads with 1/2 in. bolt holes, use ARP 154-3605 with insert washers instead.
