Fitment Notes

• For manual transmission flywheel applications only - for automatic transmission flexplate applications, see ARP 147-2902
• Do NOT use washers - these bolts are engineered for direct installation without washers; using washers will compromise clamping force and may cause failure
• Flywheel bolt holes must have adequate chamfer to clear the underhead radius of each bolt
• Compatible with all Gen III HEMI displacements sharing the same M10 x 1.0 flywheel bolt pattern: 5.7L, 6.1L, 6.4L, and 6.2L supercharged

Product Description

The ARP 147-2801 is a Pro Series flywheel bolt kit designed for all Gen III HEMI V8 engines equipped with a manual transmission. It covers the 5.7L, 6.1L, 6.4L, and 6.2L supercharged HEMI variants used across Dodge Challenger, Charger, Magnum, Chrysler 300, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Durango, and Ram platforms from 2003 through current production. When upgrading to a performance clutch or flywheel on any of these engines, OEM flywheel bolts should always be replaced - they are single-use torque-to-yield fasteners not designed for the cyclic loads of high-performance clutch systems.

These ARP bolts are forged from 8740 chromoly alloy and rated at 200,000 psi tensile strength, providing the clamping force needed to keep the flywheel firmly secured under any power level. The flat 12-point head simplifies installation in confined spaces, and the larger shank diameter improves flywheel register alignment. Note: this kit is for manual transmission flywheel applications only - for automatic transmission builds requiring flexplate bolts, the correct part is ARP 147-2902. Sold as a set of 8 bolts without washers.
