Product Description

The ARP 203-6004 is a High Performance Series connecting rod bolt kit designed specifically for the Toyota 7M-GTE and 7M-GE 3.0L inline-6 engines used in the MK3 Supra (MA70) from 1986.5 through 1992. The 7M-GTE is a turbocharged inline-six that responds well to performance builds, and any engine rebuild should address the rod bolts as a fundamental part of bottom-end assembly. OEM rod bolts are single-use torque-to-yield hardware not rated for sustained high-RPM or high-boost operation. Replacing them with these ARP bolts is a standard step for any serious 7M build.

Made from 8740 chromoly steel rated at 200,000 psi, these bolts are nearly five times stronger than OEM with threads rolled after heat treatment for exceptional fatigue life. The recommended installation method is stretch gauge measurement to 0.0060-0.0065 in.; torque with ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant to 50 ft-lbs if a stretch gauge is not available.
