Product Description

The ARB ARW120SA is the 12,000 lb version of ARB's synthetic rope winch - sharing the same integrated motor control platform as the ARW100SA but scaled for heavier 4WD builds. Heavily accessorized trucks, full-size SUVs, and rigs carrying significant payload benefit from the ARW120SA's higher rated line pull, which provides a greater safety margin when recovering a vehicle that's already at the edge of its traction in difficult terrain. The same Albright DC 500A contactor is built directly into the winch body, eliminating the external relay box and delivering cleaner wiring, faster installation, and up to 8% more pulling power compared to conventional external contactor designs.

The 4-stage hardened steel gearbox at 171:1 uses a 2-stage planetary and 2-stage spur arrangement for load distribution and sustained performance under heavy pulls. The gearbox-mounted brake keeps the friction mechanism physically separated from the drum, protecting the synthetic rope from heat during long recoveries. The 2.4GHz dual-connection remote operates to 40m wirelessly or via a 5m hardwired lead, and the 16-position clockable clutch handle accommodates any bumper mounting orientation.
