Product Description

The ARB OMESD32 is an Old Man Emu replacement steering damper for the 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 and 1994-1997 Defender 90. Designed as a direct OE replacement, it eliminates the steering kickback, shimmy, and rough-road vibration that worn or weak factory dampers allow - without compromising steering wheel return or feel. The nine-stage coil spring valving and 35mm piston deliver a wide, responsive damping range suited to the Defender's demanding on- and off-road use.

The twin-tube heavy-gauge steel outer body and dedicated piston rod stone guard provide excellent protection against the stone strikes and debris common to Defender operation in challenging environments. The 18mm induction-hardened chrome piston rod and multi-lip oil seal ensure long service life and leak-free performance. Note that the upper mount uses a Pin 60 x 9.5 configuration - verify mount compatibility before installation.
