Old Man Emu Dakar Leaf Spring, part of ARB's integrated 4X4 suspension systems. Engineered to provide optimum ride performance irrespective of the operating conditions the vehicle's suspension is required to work under, developed through hundreds of hours of testing in the demanding Australian Outback.

Draw-tapered and diamond-cut leaves distribute load progressively over a larger surface area, reducing stress at leaf ends for increased ride quality and protection against breakage. Bolt clamps and liners allow installation of anti-squeak nylon liners, while a two-stage leaf pack delivers optimal comfort whether the vehicle is unladen or under heavy load. Shot peening on the tension side reduces spring stress and can double spring life, and a graphite coating further reduces friction between leaves.
