The Old Man Emu CS017RA is a Dakar series rear leaf spring for 1980-1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, FJ60, FJ62, BJ42, BJ60, BJ70, and HJ60 platforms, delivering approximately 2 inches of rear lift over stock ride height. Engineered as part of ARB's integrated 4x4 suspension system, the Dakar spring improves ride quality, load carrying, and handling over both on-road and off-road terrain compared to worn or stock Toyota leaf springs. The medium load rating makes it suited for trucks running stock weight to light accessory loads; owners carrying heavier gear, winches, or roof racks consistently should consider a higher-rated spring.

Construction features include draw-tapered and diamond-cut leaves for progressive rate behavior, a two-stage leaf pack for improved unladen ride comfort, re-greasable nylon interleaf pads to reduce friction and noise, and a military wrap eye design that retains the pack if the primary eye breaks.
