The Old Man Emu 2866 is a progressive-rate rear coil spring set engineered specifically for the 1998-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series and Lexus LX470, offering improved ride quality and moderate load-carrying capability over factory springs. The variable rate design starts at 240 lbs/in and progressively firms to 300 lbs/in under load, providing a comfortable ride when unloaded while maintaining control when carrying gear, fuel, and recovery equipment for overlanding and remote travel. With a free standing height of 465mm, these springs deliver approximately 0.5" to 1.5" of rear lift depending on vehicle weight and the condition of the original springs. Manufactured in Australia by ARB using micro-alloyed spring steel, each spring is formed on precision mandrels and double scragged to prevent sagging over time. The durable powder coat finish resists corrosion in harsh off-road environments.
