Product Description

The ARB OMEGS4 is a front greasable leaf spring shackle kit designed for 1979-1985 Toyota Pickups, 1984-1985 Toyota 4Runners, and compatible Toyota Hilux models running Old Man Emu leaf springs. Factory shackles and fixed pins corrode over time, destroying the bushings that stabilize front axle leaf spring movement - leading to imprecise handling, vibration, and premature suspension wear. The OMEGS4 replaces the OE hardware with a fully serviceable design that allows complete on-vehicle lubrication of the pin-to-bushing interface without disassembly.

Each heat-treated pin features two grease outlet holes for thorough, even coverage throughout the bushing contact area. The bolt-together side plate design eliminates the common out-of-angle pin alignment issues found with standard shackle hardware, ensuring consistent loading across the leaf spring eye. Zinc-plated side plates resist corrosion in all-weather and off-road conditions. This kit is a recommended maintenance or upgrade replacement whenever OME Dakar or other OME front leaf springs are installed on applicable Toyota platforms.
