The ARB D37XL is the OME Dakar extra leaf for the 2005-2015 Nissan Xterra, designed to be added to existing OME Dakar rear leaf spring packs to increase load-carrying capacity. When a build adds significant weight through accessories, camping gear, or aftermarket equipment, an extra leaf raises the spring pack's effective rate to prevent sag and maintain proper ride height under load. The D37XL uses draw-tapered and diamond-cut construction to distribute load progressively across the leaf, reducing stress at the ends and protecting against breakage.

Anti-friction pads between leaves reduce inter-leaf friction for a smoother ride and extended spring pack service life. The flat axle seat area further minimizes wear at the axle interface.
