The BP-51 system features patent-pending position-sensitive internal bypass technology that delivers unparalleled on and off-road performance. Unlike conventional shocks that provide uniform damping throughout the stroke, BP-51 shock absorbers automatically increase damping force at each end of travel based on both position and velocity - providing a comfortable, compliant ride during normal driving while delivering significant end-zone damping to prevent harsh impacts over challenging terrain.
