It enables the twin-turbocharged VR30 engine to seamlessly run on any blend of gasoline and ethanol - from straight pump gas through E85 and beyond - without any manual fuel map switching or calculations from the driver. The -2 designation distinguishes this version from its predecessor: where the -1 kit used a Zeitronix CAN bus content analyzer, this version uses AMS's own purpose-built CAN bus box that integrates directly with the factory CAN bus protocol for cleaner, more reliable ECU communication. It also adds three programmable analog inputs, allowing the tuner to connect additional pressure or sensor channels directly into the CAN bus network with failsafe capability through EcuTek.

The bundled AMS fuel filter is a critical addition to the kit rather than an afterthought.
