Product Description

The AMP Research 19-04280-STB is the current-generation Type B Standard replacement controller for AMP Research PowerStep retractable running boards. This controller is the direct service replacement for failed B-03 and B-05 control modules on 2002-2003 and 2008-2016 Ford Super Duty trucks, 2002-2003 Ford Excursion, and 2009-2014 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with PowerStep kits 75134-01A, 75141-01A, or 77106-01A.

The updated design includes a dedicated plug for the optional override toggle switch, plus integrated support for the AMP LED lighting kit. Installation is plug-and-play with the existing PowerStep harness. When replacing an older B-03 or B-05 controller, pigtail harness 19-04361-90 is required and sold separately. Not compatible with PowerStep XTreme, PowerStep Smart Series, or 2017 and newer PowerStep applications -- verify the existing controller before ordering.
