Product Description

The ALTA X-AMP-INT-208 is the replacement cone filter for all ALTA cold air intake systems using a 2.75" inlet, covering MINI Cooper S, JCW, and related R53/R55/R56/R58/R59 models from 2002 through 2013. It also serves as a universal drop-in for any intake application with a matching 2.75" inlet diameter. Built with ALTA's 60 PPI open-cell reticulated polyurethane foam, it provides less airflow restriction than paper or cotton gauze media while maintaining superior filtration - and unlike competing filter types, it continues flowing even as it accumulates dirt.

The two-piece construction allows the foam sleeve to be removed from the zinc-plated steel inner cage in seconds, rinsed under a faucet, wrung by hand, re-oiled, and reinstalled - no special cleaning kit required. At 4.5" wide and 9.5" tall with a 2.75" mouth, the X-AMP-INT-208 is larger than the JCW-specific AMP-INT-110 and is the correct replacement for ALTA's full cold air intake line.
