The AlphaRex 620041 is the LUXX-Series Tail Light Wiring Converter for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2017-2019 Silverado 2500HD/3500HD, and 2014-2018 GMC Sierra 1500/2500HD/3500HD - for vehicles equipped with factory LED tail lights. When GM introduced factory LED tail lights on these Silverado and Sierra model years, the wiring harness connector changed relative to the halogen tail light configuration. The AlphaRex LUXX-Series tail lights (620030, 620040, 620050 for Silverado; 630030, 630040, 630050 for Sierra) are designed around the more common halogen harness interface. Without this converter, owners of factory LED-equipped vehicles would face a connector mismatch that prevents proper installation and function.

The 620041 solves this by bridging the factory LED harness to the AlphaRex tail light connector, restoring the plug-and-play installation experience on LED-equipped vehicles. It connects between the factory harness and the AlphaRex tail light with no cutting, splicing, or permanent modification to the vehicle's wiring. Installation takes approximately 10 minutes.
