The AlphaRex 620006 is the LUXX-Series LED Tail Light set for the 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado and 1999-2006 GMC Sierra - Black housing, Smoked lens variant. These are a full LED replacement for the 1st generation Silverado/Sierra's factory incandescent tail light assembly, bringing modern LED tube architecture, sequential turn signals, and an activation light startup sequence to a platform that originally shipped with basic halogen-bulb tail lights.

The design centers on three pairs of LED tubes arranged within each tail light housing. The tubes illuminate red for parking and brake functions, then switch to amber when the turn signal is activated - a red-to-amber switchback that clearly differentiates braking from signaling at a glance. The turn signal sequences directionally across the LED tubes for a flowing, sequential pattern. Between the LED tubes, diffuser lens sections contain additional LEDs that activate for brake and turn signal duty, filling in the gaps between tubes to maximize the total illuminated surface area. This matters particularly during daytime driving, where the larger illuminated footprint improves rear visibility for following traffic.

The activation light sequence adds personality to the startup experience: when parking lights are switched on, the tail lights cycle through a dynamic sequential animation before settling into their standard state.
