Features

• Vertical dual projectors - the headlight uses a vertical dual-projector layout, with the top projector handling low beam and the bottom projector handling high beam; both projectors use H7 halogen bulbs, providing a clean, focused projector beam output that substantially improves upon factory reflector headlights in pattern precision and appearance
• LED tube DRL encircling the projector - an LED tube runs around the main projector housing, serving as the white LED daytime running light in steady-state mode and switching to amber LED for the sequential turn signal function; the encircling LED tube gives the headlight a modern, premium appearance consistent with AlphaRex's design language across all three series
• Amber LED sequential turn signal - the LED tube activates in a dynamic sequential directional pattern when the turn signal is engaged, providing a modern and visually distinctive turn indication
• Activation light feature - a sequential running light show engages when the vehicle is unlocked, animating through the LED tube before settling into DRL mode; this feature adds a premium startup character to the Silverado HD
• Amber reflector lens side signal lights with halogen bulbs - positioned at the sides of each headlight assembly, the amber reflector lens and halogen turn signal bulb provide a secondary turn signal point visible from wider angles
• Paintable black center piece - the center piece between the projector and the side signal section is included in black and is designed to be paintable, allowing owners to match it to the factory grille color or customize it to their preference
• Chrome housing - provides a stock-look appearance that complements chrome accessories and factory chrome trim packages; the chrome finish suits Silverado HD owners who want a modernized headlight design while maintaining the chrome character of higher trim levels
• Clear polycarbonate lens - anti-fog coating on the interior maintains optical clarity during temperature changes; anti-yellowing/oxidation coating on the exterior provides long-term UV protection
• DOT/SAE FMVSS108 compliant - legal for on-road use in the United States
• Manufactured to ISO 9000, 9001, 9002, and ISO 17949 automotive-specific quality management standards

Product Description

The AlphaRex 880225 is the PRO-Series Halogen Projector Headlight set for the 2015-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD (3rd generation HD body style) - Chrome housing, clear lens. The 3rd gen Silverado HD ran from 2015 through 2019 on this body structure, and the 880225 brings a projector-based headlight design to this generation at AlphaRex's entry-level PRO-Series price point.

The headlight uses a vertical dual-projector layout, with the top projector handling low beam and the bottom handling high beam using H7 halogen bulbs. A LED tube encircles the main projector housing and provides dual service as the white LED DRL and, via a switchback mechanism, the amber LED sequential turn signal. The activation light feature runs a sequential animation through the LED tube on vehicle unlock before settling into DRL mode. Side amber reflector lenses with halogen bulbs provide secondary turn signal visibility from wider angles. The chrome center piece is included in black and is paintable to match any grille color.

The Chrome housing maintains a stock-look appearance that pairs naturally with factory chrome trim packages and chrome accessories common on LTZ, High Country, and similarly appointed Silverado HD models. Owners seeking LED projection instead of halogen should consider the LUXX-Series (LED projectors with full AlphaRex LUXX LEDs) or NOVA-Series (Osram Ice Cube 3D LED projectors) variants available for the same fitment. Plug-and-play installation, no cutting or drilling. DOT/SAE FMVSS108 compliant. 2-year warranty on manufacturer defects. Sold as a pair.
