AlphaRex 641030 Dodge Ram LUXX-Series LED Tail Lights Black Red 2002-2006

Vehicle Fitment

• 2002-2006 Dodge Ram 1500
• 2003-2006 Dodge Ram 2500
• 2003-2006 Dodge Ram 3500

Fitment Notes

• Does NOT fit 2007-2008 Dodge Ram - the 4th generation Ram body style uses a different tail light opening and connector; this listing is for 3rd generation Ram (2002-2006) only
• Sold as a pair - includes driver side and passenger side tail light assemblies plus one wiring harness
• This listing (641030) features a Black/Red housing with Smoked lens - all turn signal and brake functions use red LEDs to match the Black/Red theme; no amber turn signal. For the Black housing with amber sequential turn signals, see the 641020 variant

Features

• Six switchable LED tubes - the six-tube layout provides a more visually complex and premium LED signature compared to the PRO-Series four-tube design; tubes illuminate red for parking lights and brake lights, and red for sequential turn signal activation throughout the Black/Red color theme
• Red sequential turn signal - flows directionally across the LED tubes in a dynamic sequential pattern, maintaining the all-red visual identity of the Black/Red housing without introducing amber
• Diffuser lenses with integrated LEDs positioned between the six LED tubes - the diffuser sections add brake light and turn signal output in the areas between tubes, expanding the total illuminated surface area for improved conspicuity during daytime and nighttime driving
• Activation light startup sequence - when parking lights engage, the tail lights cycle through a signature sequential animation across the LED tubes before settling into standard parking mode; a characteristic feature of the AlphaRex LUXX-Series
• White LED reverse light - the reverse function uses a white LED source, providing bright, modern reverse illumination
• Black/Red housing with prominent red LED tube accent - the two-tone matte black and red design gives the tail light a bold, distinctive rear appearance that maintains visual continuity with the stock Ram's red tail light color family while introducing a modern LED aesthetic
• Smoked tinted polycarbonate lens - darkens the tail light's appearance when unlit, creating a more aggressive look compared to the factory clear-lens assembly
• Anti-yellowing/oxidation protective coating on the polycarbonate lens - protects against UV-induced discoloration for long-term optical clarity
• Plug-and-play installation with included wiring harness - no cutting or drilling required; wiring harness bridges any connector differences between the AlphaRex unit and the factory Ram harness
• DOT/SAE FMVSS108 compliant - legal for on-road use in the United States
• Manufactured to ISO 9000, 9001, 9002, and ISO 17949 automotive-specific quality management standards
• 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in design and manufacturing

Product Description

The AlphaRex 641030 is the LUXX-Series LED Tail Light set for the 2002-2006 Dodge Ram 1500 and 2003-2006 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 - Black/Red housing, Smoked lens variant. The 641030 brings the full LUXX-Series feature set to the 3rd generation Ram platform: six LED tubes (two more than the PRO-Series), LED diffuser sections between the tubes, a red sequential turn signal, a white LED reverse light, and an activation light startup sequence that animates across the tubes when the parking lights engage. The Black/Red housing theme carries all turn signal and brake functions in red - consistent with the two-tone visual identity of the housing - rather than switching to amber for turn signals as the Black and Alpha-Black variants do.

The six-tube layout creates a more visually layered, premium LED signature at the rear of the Ram compared to the four-tube PRO-Series design. The diffuser lenses between the tubes fill in the gaps with additional brake and turn signal output, expanding the total illuminated surface during active braking and signaling - important for rear visibility in traffic. The activation light sequence is a hallmark of the AlphaRex LUXX-Series: when parking lights come on, the tubes cycle through a directional animation before settling into steady mode. The smoked polycarbonate lens subdues the interior when unlit, while the anti-yellowing/oxidation coating preserves lens clarity over time.

This tail light fits the 3rd generation Dodge Ram (2002-2006) and does NOT fit the 2007-2008 4th generation Ram body style. The included wiring harness ensures proper installation without cutting the factory harness. DOT/SAE FMVSS108 compliant. 2-year warranty on manufacturer defects. Sold as a pair.
