Product Description

The Airaid 451-260 MXP Cold Air Dam intake replaces the factory airbox, filter, and intake tubing on 2010-2019 Ford Flex, 2010-2017 Taurus SHO, 2010-2016 Lincoln MKS, and 2010-2019 Lincoln MKT equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost V6. The Cold Air Dam design is the key differentiator -- roto-molded CAD panels mount in the factory airbox location and seal directly to the underside of the hood via blade-style weather stripping, creating a sealed enclosure that isolates the filter from engine bay heat and channels cold outside air through factory and added cold air passages. Dyno testing showed gains of 9 hp and 15 ft-lb of torque over the factory intake.

The 360-degree conical SynthaMax filter uses dual-layer 100% synthetic media for high filtration efficiency without requiring oil -- maintenance is as simple as washing with mild detergent and air drying. The black high-density cross-linked polyethylene intake tube replaces the factory tubing with a lower-restriction path tuned to the EcoBoost's airflow demands.
