Product Description

The Air Lift 81560 is an Air Lift 1000 series front coil spring insert kit for vintage Chevrolet and GMC full-size trucks, vans, SUVs, and Class A motorhomes from 1969 through 2002. The Air Lift 1000 installs directly inside the existing front coil springs -- no modifications to the suspension geometry, no new mounts, and no drilling required on most applications. Once installed, adding air pressure to the springs (5-35 PSI for trucks and SUVs, up to 90 PSI for P30/P32 motorhomes) increases load-carrying capacity and prevents the front end from sagging, swaying, or bottoming out when towing heavy loads, hauling cargo, or running a front-mounted snowplow or winch.

The system is fully adjustable -- inflate when loaded, deflate when running empty for a normal ride. The polyurethane air spring bodies are durable and resistant to road chemicals, and the kit includes air lines, a Schrader valve fitting, and all hardware needed for a complete installation in one hour or less. A compressor and gauges are not included and are sold separately. Some G-Series van applications may not fit with rear air/heat systems, and some applications require minimum clearance between the tire and frame -- verify your specific application before ordering.
