Product Description

The aFe 46-70122-1 Pro Series Deep Transmission Pan is a direct bolt-in performance upgrade for 1994-2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 7.3L, 6.0L, or 6.4L Powerstroke diesel engine and an E4OD, 4R100, 5R110, or 5R110W automatic transmission. It replaces the factory stamped steel pan with a die-cast A380 aluminum unit that adds approximately 7.5 quarts of fluid capacity over stock - dramatically increasing the transmission's thermal buffer and extending fluid service intervals under towing, hauling, and high-load conditions where factory pan capacity is a known limiting factor.

Built-in internal and external machined cooling fins passively dissipate heat from the transmission fluid to the surrounding air, keeping fluid temperatures lower over sustained high-load cycles. The large neodymium magnetic drain plug captures metallic wear particles that circulate in the fluid and can accelerate clutch pack and bearing wear - a critical protection feature on transmissions like the 5R110 that are known to accumulate debris under hard use. The 1/8" NPT port allows direct installation of a transmission temperature sensor for real-time monitoring with no drilling. Includes a new transmission filter, RTV silicone, and all necessary hardware for a complete installation.
