The aFe Power 56-10020R Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R filter is a performance-oriented upgrade designed specifically for the 2014-2018 Mazda 3 equipped with the 2.0 L four-cylinder gasoline engine. This Stage-2 intake system replaces the restrictive factory intake with a high-flow design featuring a large 7" Pro 5R pre-oiled cotton gauze filter that increases airflow dramatically and improves engine breathing. The open-element XLPE housing minimizes intake heat and allows a clearer view of the filter, while an auxiliary inlet can be used to draw in additional cool air under power.

Equipped with a dyno-tuned intake tube made from heat-resistant XLPE material, this intake delivers a stronger throttle response and enhanced induction sound compared to stock. Dyno-proven gains of up to approximately +9 HP and +8 lb-ft of torque with an airflow increase of around 71 % over the factory intake help provide a noticeable performance boost without requiring ECU tuning.
