Product Description

The aFe 46-34001 Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer is a direct bolt-in upgrade for 1999-2007 GM GMT800 trucks and SUVs equipped with V8 engines ranging from 4.8L to 8.1L. It installs between the factory throttle body and intake manifold, increasing the plenum volume and introducing a controlled turbulence into the incoming air charge through its combination serrated/helix entry design. This promotes more thorough air/fuel mixing before combustion, translating to improved throttle response, horsepower, and torque - particularly in the low-to-mid RPM range where these trucks spend most of their time under load.

Unlike helix-only spacers that are prone to generating an annoying intake whistle, the Silver Bullet's serrated edge breaks up the resonant frequency that causes the sound. CNC machined from T-6061 billet aluminum, the spacer is a direct bolt-in with no permanent modifications to the vehicle. Compatible with the aFe Magnum FORCE intake systems P/N 51-10091 and 54-10091.
