Product Description

The aFe POWER 46-32001 Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer is a direct bolt-on performance upgrade for 1994-2002 Dodge Ram trucks with the 5.2L or 5.9L V8 Magnum engine. Machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum using aFe's patented serrated/helix entry design (US Patent 07055513), the spacer installs between the throttle body and intake manifold to lengthen the intake tract and create turbulent airflow entering the combustion chamber. The result is improved air-fuel mixing, increased air pressure at the intake valve, and a more responsive throttle feel.

Unlike helix-only spacers that produce intake whistle under throttle, aFe's serrated edge entry design significantly reduces this noise while still delivering the performance benefits of a helix swirl pattern. Installation uses the factory throttle body mounting locations with the included custom-machined screws for a secure, rattle-free fit that won't damage the plastic intake manifold. A straightforward bolt-on upgrade compatible with stock and modified intake combinations.
