Product Description

The aFe POWER Rapid Induction Dynamic Air Scoop (D.A.S.) in Red (PN 52-10010SR) is a targeted cold air upgrade designed for the 2021-2026 Ford F-150 across all V6 and V8 gas engine configurations - excluding the PowerBoost™ hybrid. Unlike a complete cold air intake replacement, the D.A.S. works with either the factory airbox or compatible aFe POWER aftermarket intakes to fundamentally change where the air supply comes from. The scoop connects to the airbox on one end while routing its inlet opening to the top of the front grille, capturing the coldest possible outside air before it can be heated by the engine bay. The red silicone seal at the hood interface completes the cold air path by blocking warm engine bay air from entering the scoop opening, ensuring a consistent supply of dense, cool ambient air reaches the filter throughout all driving conditions.

The D.A.S. body is constructed from high-quality LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) - a tough, impact-resistant polymer that withstands the thermal and vibrational stresses of the engine bay environment while remaining flexible enough to absorb minor impacts without cracking. The red colorway matches the aFe POWER brand color scheme and adds a visually striking accent when the hood is opened, visible from the front intake area. The D.A.S. is available in three colors - Black (52-10010S), Red (52-10010SR), and Blue (52-10010SL) - allowing owners to coordinate with existing engine bay color schemes or aFe intake system colors.

Installation requires no modification to the vehicle - the scoop snaps directly into the airbox using the included hardware in minutes. When paired with the factory airbox, the D.A.S. converts the stock sealed intake into a functional cold air intake without purchasing an entirely new system. When used alongside the aFe POWER Rapid Induction or Quantum intake systems, it maximizes the cold air delivery potential of those systems.
