Product Description

The aFe 53-10006D Quantum Pro DRY S Cold Air Intake System is engineered to improve airflow and performance for 2011-2016 Chevrolet and GMC heavy-duty trucks equipped with the 6.6 L Duramax LML turbo diesel V8 engine. Featuring an integrated filter-to-housing design, this intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow, dry synthetic filter and a CAD-designed intake tube to significantly increase airflow and engine breathing. The Pro DRY S air filter requires no oiling and is washable and reusable, offering convenience and long-term service life.

Installation is direct bolt-on, using existing factory mounting points with no cutting or modifications required. The roto-molded XLPE intake tube provides heat-soak resistance and contributes to smoother airflow, while the silicone bellows coupling accommodates engine movement for a reliable fit. This intake delivers improved throttle response and measurable gains in horsepower and torque over the stock system. Please note this intake is **not currently CARB exempt** and therefore **cannot be used in California or other CARB-required states**.
