The aFe Power Quantum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System 53-10007R is a direct-fit performance upgrade designed specifically for 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Heavy Duty trucks equipped with the L5P 6.6L Duramax turbo diesel engine. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory air intake with a high-flow design that optimizes airflow for improved throttle response and enhanced engine efficiency. Featuring a premium oiled Pro 5R air filter with 5-layer radial media, the system delivers notable gains in horsepower and torque while maintaining excellent filtration performance.

Built with a roto-molded XLPE intake tube and a unique integrated filter-to-housing design, the Quantum intake resists heat soak and accelerates airflow to the turbo inlet. The silicone bellows coupling accommodates engine movement, ensuring a secure and flexible installation without cutting or drilling. Although this intake provides performance benefits, it is not CARB-exempt and therefore not legal for sale or use in California and other CARB-adopting states.
