The aFe 53-10006R Quantum Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System is a high-performance air intake engineered specifically for 2011-2016 Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks equipped with the 6.6 L LML Duramax Turbo Diesel V8 engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with an integrated filter-to-housing design and a high-flow Pro 5R oiled cotton gauze filter to significantly increase airflow into the engine, improving engine breathing and overall performance. The 360° radial-flow Pro 5R filter features multiple layers of cotton media for excellent filtration and airflow while remaining washable and reusable.

A CAD-designed, roto-molded XLPE intake tube resists heat soak and provides smooth, optimized airflow to support increased horsepower and torque. The silicone bellows coupling helps absorb engine movement for a secure and durable installation, and the entire system bolts directly to factory mounting points without cutting or drilling. This intake delivers stronger throttle response and measurable power gains while maintaining a straightforward installation process. Please note this intake is **not CARB exempt** and **cannot be used in California or other CARB-required states**. Fitment is confirmed through 2016 for supported Chevy/GMC Duramax models.
