Fitment Notes

• Fits Dana 50, Dana 60, and Dana 61 front axles - covers all 4WD F-250/F-350 Super Duty configurations across the full model year range.
• 4WD models only - 2WD Super Duty trucks do not have a front differential requiring this cover.
• Verify front axle type before ordering - some model years used Dana 50 (early) while others transitioned to Dana 60 or Super 60 (Dana 61).
• Gasket/O-ring and all necessary mounting hardware are included - no additional gasket required.
• Optional kit with 4 quarts of PRO Guard D2 synthetic 75W-90 gear oil available as P/N 46-71101B.
• Also available in raw/brushed aluminum finish (Street Series) for the Dana 60 application.
• Does not require a CARB EO number.

The aFe 46-71100B Pro Series Front Differential Cover is a direct bolt-in upgrade for 1999-2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with 4WD and a Dana 50, Dana 60, or Dana 61 front axle - covering every generation of the Super Duty across this full production span. It replaces the factory stamped steel cover with a cast aluminum unit featuring reinforced ribs, built-in internal and external machined cooling fins, and an increased fluid capacity over stock for improved thermal buffer and longer gear oil service life in trucks that see regular towing, hauling, or off-road use.

The dual neodymium magnetic plugs - a recessed drain and a deep-reach fill - capture metallic wear particles that circulate in the differential fluid before they can damage gears or bearings. The pre-installed oil level sight glass with 1/8" NPT calibration plug set to the factory fill line makes service straightforward and eliminates the risk of overfilling. The tapped breather port adds versatility for off-road and demanding applications. All mounting hardware and an O-ring are included. The optional P/N 46-71101B kit adds 4 quarts of PRO Guard D2 synthetic 75W-90 gear oil for a complete service in one box.
