The aFe Power 46-70172 Pro Series Transmission Pan is a performance upgrade designed for Ford F-150 trucks equipped with the 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission from 2009 through 2020. Constructed from durable A380 die-cast aluminum with reinforced ribs and finished in a corrosion-resistant black powder coat featuring machined cooling fins, this deep transmission pan increases fluid capacity by approximately 7 quarts compared with the stock pan. The added fluid volume and cooling fins help maintain lower transmission operating temperatures during heavy use such as towing, hauling, or spirited driving.

Internal and external cooling fins transfer heat from the fluid to the surrounding air for improved heat rejection, while the large neodymium magnetic drain plug helps capture metallic debris to protect transmission internals. The threaded 1/8" NPT port allows for easy installation of a transmission temperature sensor for real-time monitoring.
