The aFe 51-81012-B MagnumFORCE Stage-2 Si Cold Air Intake enhances power, engine sound, and throttle response on the BMW E9X 3-Series and E82/E88 128i's naturally-aspirated N52 3.0L, delivering an exhilarating driving experience without altering the car's fundamental character. The patented open-element design features CAD-engineered heat shields and tubes for optimal airflow, mounting in the factory location for a straightforward installation.

A massive 6" conical Pro DRY S filter with an inverted top uses 3-layer progressive synthetic media that requires no oil for maximum convenience, while dual "kidney bean" style auxiliary air inlet ducts add extra air volume beyond what the primary intake path alone could deliver. The fully sealed, 2-piece design keeps warm underhood air out and brings in cooler, denser outside air, topped with a vacuum-formed ABS black cover that seals in that cool air while giving the engine bay an aggressive, finished look.

Rigorously tested and made and assembled in the USA, this intake delivers a rated gain of 12 horsepower and 15 lb-ft of torque, fitting both active and non-active steering equipped vehicles.
