The aFe POWER 54-11112 MagnumFORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered specifically for MKV-platform Volkswagen and Audi vehicles equipped with the transverse-mounted L4-2.0T FSI engine (BPY, CBFA, and CCTA engine codes). Unlike a Stage-1 system, this Stage-2 kit replaces both the factory airbox and the OEM intake tube with a custom heat-insulating molded plastic tube precision-designed for the MKV engine bay layout. This tube replacement eliminates the primary flow restriction of the factory intake tract, increasing airflow volume and velocity to the turbocharger for improved spool, stronger throttle response, and measurable power gains. The entire assembly is enclosed in a one-piece 16-gauge powder-coated steel heat shield that requires little to no assembly and bolts directly into factory mounting locations.

The Pro 5R conical air filter at the center of this system delivers 360-degree radial airflow through five progressively finer layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze media - aFe's highest-performance filter option, built for both street and track environments. The 100% polyurethane frame ensures the filter holds its shape and seals perfectly across its full service life. Like all aFe Pro 5R filters, it is fully washable and reusable, making long-term ownership economical. The molded plastic intake tube and steel heat shield work together to source the coolest available underhood air while keeping warm engine air away from the filter media, protecting intake charge density under sustained driving or track conditions.

Compatibility is limited to transverse FWD-configured 2.0T FSI engines only - this intake does not fit longitudinal (quattro/AWD) applications or any model equipped with secondary air injection.
